Let’s discover the treasures of Oise and Picardy, via Beauvais, Chantilly, Senlis, Saint Paul and Gerberoy…!

Beauvais Cathedral

Copyright © Oise Tourisme / Bruno Gouhoury

From the 13th century for the choir, to the 16th century for the transept, Beauvais Cathedral underwent numerous modifications until the 20th century, mainly to the stained glass windows.

It would be one of the largest buildings in the world… if it had, like any other cathedral, a nave and a bell tower. But, even unfinished, its dimensions remain breathtaking, making it the world’s tallest Gothic choir!

It also boasts the world’s oldest carillon clock: the Astronomical Clock, a must-see.
